About CPS
Cushing Public Schools covers an area of 78.5 square miles in southeastern Payne County, Oklahoma, and is home to approximately 2,000 students. Our district includes five locations, including a pre-kindergarten center, two elementary campuses, a middle school, and a high school. We pride ourselves on keeping up with the latest technology and equipping our students for the future. Every classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, and Chromebooks are issued to all students in grades 2 through 12 for use throughout the school day. Our facilities are well-maintained and up-to-date, providing a comfortable and modern learning environment for our students.
We're committed to providing a high standard of academic achievement and performance for our students, as well as access to exceptional library and media facilities, a range of academic programs such as art, music, athletics, gifted and talented programs, special education services, and an alternative learning environment.
